"XOXO" is a twin size quilt that I love! This quilt has great texture (flannel, velour, chenille) and it has lace detailing. It is so feminine and cuddly.
I decided I needed to make a masculine quilt. I named it “Michael’s on the Hunt” and it is twin size. It has great texture: velour, terry cloth, flannel, etc.
I realize that I am not good at this tumblr thing yet. I have been very busy working on my new projects…. MUFFS! I am single-handedly trying to bring back muffs. Stylish muffs, at that. They are warm, very cozy and pillows for your hands! I am selling them on etsy for $25 but more importantly help me get the word out that muffs are amazing!
On to the next project! I am trying something new. I am making muffs… The photos are of the five I have already started and will hopefully finish tomorrow. They are for a craft show my sister and I are doing in a few weeks. I will be selling my quilts and these muffs… wish me luck!
All done. Final size 60x72” (twin). I think it came out really nice. It has lots of great textures and is truly reversible. I posted it to etsy already but selfishly want it for myself.
A few more pictures!!
For my next project I am trying to decide between: a dog, an owl or a modern pattern. What to do?
Ohh deer… it’s a quilt! I really like how this quilt turned out. I like how the back is simple, yet makes a statement and can hold it own. I also like how the front is subtle yet obviously a deer head with antlers. I hope someone will appreciate this quilt and give it a new home. The quilt ended up being 66x76” (twin sized).
Oh deer…. what do you think? I hope the deer is recognizable. Right now the quilt is 58x69” and I am planning to add a green border which will add some extra width and length. This quilt should be done in a day or two. I will post another picture soon.
